Assistant Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School
Lisa LaRowe, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Center for Optimal Aging and Serious Illness Research at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is a clinical psychologist specializing in health psychology and behavioral medicine, with a focus on healthy aging among people with chronic pain and other complex health conditions. Her research examines how health behaviors influence well-being in later life and how behavioral interventions can support sustainable health behavior change. She also works to translate behavioral science into policy and practice and serves as Chair of the Society of Behavioral Medicine’s Advocacy Council.
